All Stars Invitational esports LAN event set to start on April 26; Team SouL not participating

The event features a prize pool of Rs. 55 lakhs with the winners getting Rs 25 lakhs. Here are all the details including the schedule, prize pool, and more about the All Starts Invitational esports LAN event

Game streaming platform Loco and gaming solutions and esports events company, Nodwin Gaming have just announced the details around their latest event.  Both the companies have announced All Stars Invitational LAN esports event, the first offline esports event to take place in two years. This three-day-long LAN esports event is scheduled to start on April 26 in New Delhi with the end set for April 28. The event features a prize pool of Rs. 55 lakhs with the winners getting Rs 25 lakhs.

All Stars Invitational esports LAN event details

The invitational tournament will see a total of 16 Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) teams and a total of 4 Asphalt players competing against each other. The teams and players will play multiple matches spread across the three-day tournament. Due to Covid-19 and safety measures, the event will not feature an in-house audience. The event will be exclusively streamed live on Loco from 5:00 PM onwards on Tuesday in English, Hindi and Tamil.

Loco founders Anirudh Pandita and Ashwin Suresh shared a statement about the tournament. They said, “LAN tournaments have always been the soul of the gaming experience.” Akshat Rathee, the Managing Director, and Co-Founder for Nodwin Gaming added, “With the easing of COVID19 restrictions globally, an in-person gathering of players gives us an opportunity to bring back the glory of LAN tournaments.”

Loco and Nodwin Gaming revealed the 16 BGMI teams that will take part in the event. The organizers have not provided the details about the 4 Asphalt players that will be competing in the tournament. Here’s the list of BGMI teams competing in All Stars Invitational:

Team SouL not participating in the All Stars Invitational LAN event

Team SouL was originally set to take part in the tournament. However, the team decided to not take part in the event after one of their team members fell sick. Team SouL member Harsh ‘Goblin’ Paudwal had to drop out of the tournament due to medical reasons. Team member Mortal posted an Instagram story that informed fans about Goblin the decision to not take part in the event. The vacant position left by Team SouL was filled by Team Insane Esports for the All Stars Invitational LAN esports event.
