Starfield delayed for third time to September 2023- announces Bethesda Game Director Todd Howard

Starfield Official Launch Date Announced
Starfield was originally scheduled to launch on November 11, 2022. The game was delayed to the first half of 2023 in May last year. The latest announcement announces the third delay to September 6, 2023.
Game Director Todd Howard appeared in the video announcement. Howard said, “We have poured ourselves into this game…it is huge.” Additionally he also announced that Bethesda will be presenting a deep-dive into the game with Starfield Direct to be held on June 11, 2023. Starfield showcased its first gameplay at the Starfield Direct last year, as a part of the Xbox Bethesda Games Showcase 2023. Despite the multiple delays the sci-fi RPG Starfield is highly awaited by fans. However, the game won’t be releasing on PlayStation consoles following Microsoft’s acquisition of Bethesda.
