Genshin Impact: New Nightsoul Trials and More Challenges Await in Natlan Expansion
Genshin Impact's Natlan region continues to evolve with the introduction of new Nightsoul Trials. These challenging trials, featuring unique mechanics like Electro Wayob and Cryo Wayob, will test players' skills.
Two new Nightsoul Trials are coming soon to Genshin Impact. These trials will introduce the next tribes of the Natlan region. The launch of the latest region for the Hoyoverse RPG brought a lot of changes from previous regions, breaking many of the game's traditions. Natlan currently features three different reputation levels for each tribe, with the new Nightsoul Blessing mechanics also drastically changing the way players travel across Natlan. Now a new leak is pointing to some new challenges coming with future expansions to Natlan.
Among the many new gameplay features added with Genshin Impact's Natlan region, the new "Nightsoul Trials" offer a number of unique challenges for players. The Nightsoul Trials task players with engaging with each challenge's unique gameplay mechanics in order to complete the trials, which include everything from interrupting enemies to avoiding attacks.
Version 5.0 added six different Nightsoul Trials to the game, with fans hoping even more will come with the expansion of the Natlan map. Now, leaks are pointing to the next new Nightsoul Trials coming to the game.
The latest round of leaks, which were posted by well-known Hoyoverse leaker HomeDigiKat, hint at the addition of the next two Nightsoul Trials.
The main feature of Electro Wayob is a specific element response that allows players to electrocute adversaries and cause massive amounts of True Damage. A special gimmick in Cryo Wayob will need players to smash the appropriate mirror in order to harm the enemy's true form or receive Cryo Damage in return. It is anticipated that both Nightsoul Trials won't be available until at least version 5.2, which is presently anticipated to arrive in November.

The Nightsoul Trial difficulties that Genshin Impact has added will intensify the already difficult new content that the game has lately received. Version 4.7 released the Imaginarium Theater as a revamped endgame challenge, featuring roaming enemies similar to those in Spiral Abyss. Hoyoverse has also continued to regularly update Spiral Abyss with a lineup of new enemies, including more challenging bosses and potentially making Spiral Abyss harder on its highest floors.
While the new Nightsoul Trials are still several patches away, Hoyoverse has already begun teasing players about Natlan, the first post-launch update. Version 5.1 will introduce a new character to the game, with Zilonan being revealed to be a five-star Geo Unit who will use a sword as his weapon. Leaks about Version 5.1 have also suggested that the update will see fans return to Sumeru, with the update's main event taking place in the Dendro region. Genshin Impact's latest regional cycle is set to begin soon with new characters, events, and challenges.
