Hogwarts Legacy launches new patch notes addressing bugs and overall gameplay; PS4 and Xbox One release is however delayed

It’s been a month since Hogwarts Legacy launched for PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. While we still await the release on PS4 and Xbox One, it has now been delayed by a month.On the other hand a player has discovered what is possibly a glitch in the game, that grants them immense power. On that note, Avalanche Software has launched a new set of patch notes for the game. Here’s everything latest on Hogwarts Legacy.
Hogwarts Legacy PS4-Xbox One launch- Details
Portkey Games has announced that the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One launch of Hogwarts Legacy has now been delayed. The news was posted on the official Twitter account of Hogwarts Legacy. The release that was originally scheduled for April 4, has now been postponed to May 5th. The Nintendo Switch launch of Hogwarts Legacy however is still slated for July 25, 2023.
You can accidentally kill Sebastian Sallow
If you’ve played Hogwarts Legacy you know how important an NPC Sebatian Sallow is. He is the key for you to unlock all of your Unforgivable Curses. Turns out that Sebastian Sallow can be killed. It is still not clear however, if this is a glitch.
A player by the Reddit username Uselessmedics, has informed that they accidentally ended up killing Sebastian Sallow. In the video posted, we can see the player engaging in a battle with a Venomous Scurrior. The final blast, somehow kills off Sebastian as well, as he hurls to the ground, and lays there lifeless. A “Dev_Placeholdereward” automatically gets added to the inventory. A couple of others also have reportedly received the item in the game, following a similar glitch with Sebastian. It is not yet clear as to what powers this mysterious item holds.
Hogwarts Legacy Latest Patch Notes
On that note, Hogwarts Legacy has released a new set of Patch Notes yesterday. It addresses overall gameplay, performance, stability and improves online connectivity.
