The new update for Mortal Kombat has finally rolled in, check all the deets out here!
NetherRealm Studios keeps the momentum going with yet another Mortal Kombat 11 update hitting the scene on November 15.
This comes hot on the heels of a substantial patch earlier in the month, which threw a bunch of fixes at Mortal Kombat 11 Invasion Mode, dabbled in character-specific tweaks, and sprinkled in some balance adjustments for good measure. They're keeping things fresh and fine-tuned for the fighters out there.
The latest installment in this legendary fighting series hit the streets for PC and consoles in mid-September. Since then, NetherRealm has been on a roll, dropping a total of nine Mortal Kombat 11 updates. Keep those combos coming and those thumbs nimble!
Notably, the tenth patch for Mortal Kombat 11 has hit both PC and consoles, and although the official Mortal Kombat website hasn't spilled the beans on this update, WB Games' support pages have got the deets. According to the patch notes, this November 15 update brings a fresh Thanksgiving Fatality to the in-game Premium Store.
The newly added Thanksgiving Finisher falls under the category of Seasonal Fatalities, and players are limited to having just one equipped at a time. However, there might be a glitch, as reported by Reddit user Rasy2kG, who noted that the animation doesn't always trigger even when selected, at least on the Xbox Series X. Additionally, the November 15 update seems a bit heftier on Microsoft's current-gen console, clocking in at around 1.6 GB compared to its PlayStation counterpart.
The latest patch for Mortal Kombat 11, released on November 15, brings a Thanksgiving Finisher to the Premium Store for a limited time. However, there's a reported glitch where the animation may not always trigger, especially on the Xbox Series X. The update includes various bug fixes, DLC character additions to "player select" (likely fixing a visual glitch), and new Seasonal Invasions content. Notably, Steam users are reportedly facing an 83 GB download, almost like reinstalling the entire game, and Nintendo Switch owners need to redownload 27 GB of their 35 GB game.
