Dell has just announced its complete lineup of gaming hardware for the year 2021 at its Spring launch event. This includes a total of seven products including three laptops and four gaming monitors. Checking the details of the announcement, we got Alienware m15 Ryzen Edition R5, Dell G15, G15 Ryzen Edition, and more. It continues with Dell 25-inch S2522HG, 27 S2722DGM and 32-inch S3222DGM Curved monitor, and Dell 34-inch S3422DWG curved gaming monitor. The highlight of the event is likely the shift to AMD Ryzen to power the Dell and Alienware gaming products.
Vivian Lien, the VP of Product Management at Alienware and Dell Gaming reiterated that this is the first Alienware product to feature an AMD processor “in over a decade”. The last Alienware laptop to feature AMD was Aurora mALX back in 2007. The announcement also notes the launch timeline and pricing for some of the products in the US market. However, we are not sure about the price in India or the launch timeline for these products. Dell Alienware m15 Ryzen Edition R5 out; details
The star of the show is the Dell Alienware m15 Ryzen Edition R5 with AMD Ryzen 5000 series CPUs. Beyond the CPU, the laptop also features top-of-the-line Nvidia GeForce RTX 3000 series GPUs along with Alienware Cryo-tech cooling technology. We also get a 15-inch screen with up to 360Hz refresh rate FHD panel and up to 240Hz QHD panel. Dell has also tweaked the finish of the m15 for Ryzen Edition R5 with a feature called “Dark Core”. It sports a darker interior so that there are lesser distractions when the user opens the lid of the laptop. It is set to go on sale in the USA from April 20 with a starting price of $1,793.98.

G15 and G15 Ryzen Edition gaming laptops
Moving on to the Dell G15 2021 series, we get both an Intel-powered version as well as the G15 Ryzen Edition. This series features slight tweaks in the design element with the 10th-Gen Intel processor or the latest Ryzen 5000 series processors. The Intel variant will come with an option for either the GTX 16050 or the RTX 3060 GPU. On the other hand, the Ryzen option will only offer RTX 3060.
At launch, users will get an option to select up to 165Hz refresh rate panel for gaming. But Dell also plans to bring a 360Hz refresh option “later this spring”. The Intel variant will go on sale from April 13 in the USA for a starting price of $899.99. On the other hand, the G15 Ryzen Edition will go on sale from May 4 in the USA with a starting price of $899.99.

Dell 25, 27, 32, and 34 gaming monitors
Finally, let’s check the latest Dell gaming monitor lineup for 2021 with all four models. This includes the Dell 25 S2522HG, Dell 27 S2722DGM, and 32 S3222DGM curved gaming monitors, and Dell 34 S3422DWG curved gaming monitor. All four models will feature Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) making them ideal for both PC as well as console gaming. Dell also outlined that all these models will also come with the Dell Premium Panel and Advance Exchange program. The 25-inch model features a 240Hz refresh rate, 1ms response time, Nvidia G-Sync, and AMD FreeSync Premium technology. It is set to go on sale in the USA from May 27.
Dell 27 and 32 curved monitors feature QHD resolution, 165Hz refresh rate, 2ms response time, and come with a sale date of June 22. The Dell 34 curved gaming monitor will feature WQHD resolution, VESA DisplayHDR 400 support, and 90 percent DCI-P3 range. We also get a 144Hz refresh rate on the monitor along with a sale date of May 27. The company did not share the pricing information for the gaming monitors during the announcement.
